Actual cost £37

The nearest tube station is Vauxhall.

There were eleven of us, and the bill came to £37 a head, including six bottles of the house wine, which was very drinkable at £12.95 a bottle. Service was slow from the start and got progressively worse throughout the evening, and I had to intervene in order to get dessert and coffee organised. I had not come across this waiter there before, and he did not look after us well. The food was varied and tasty, but the portions of the main course were excessively large, and few if any, were able to finish completely. It did not prevent some from having dessert, however! There was a good buzz around the table, and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening, poor service notwithstanding. The person attending for the first time indicated that he had enjoyed the evening, and confirmed he would be joining us again.
