Remarks

We all had the set menu (three courses at £13.95) which proved remarkably good value. It was all well-presented, looked good, and my meal was delicious. There were complimentary comments from around the table. The service was efficient and very friendly, but the restaurant was by no means full. We drank four bottles of the house wine, which went well with the food, and most had coffee or tea afterwards. The bill came to £26.50 a head, although it would undoubtedly have been more if we had gone à la carte. All in all, I think everyone had an enjoyable evening.

The Stockpot Palms of Goa

  1. I really enjoyed this – the food was good, the staff were friendly and it was remarkably good value for central Richmond.
