Comments

Wodka is a pseudo-traditional Polish restaurant, not too far from the tube station, but quietly off the beaten track.

We'd booked for fourteen, and seventeen turned up, which made things awkward. The manager suggested that we should use the private downstairs dining room. It took them a little while to organise, but suited us down to the ground.

The service was slow; the food was good. The barman you can have washed and sent to my tent - a youthful Polish blond.
